Job Description

An exciting opportunity is available for an experienced and motivated Audit Senior to join a well-established public accounting firm. This position offers the chance to lead engagements, mentor staff, and take advantage of a defined pathway to partnership in a collaborative and supportive environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Planning and overseeing audit and assurance engagements to ensure accuracy and compliance.
  • Developing strong client relationships by serving as a trusted advisor for financial reporting needs.
  • Supervising, mentoring, and guiding staff accountants to drive professional development and successful outcomes.
  • Staying updated on industry standards, including GAAP and GAAS, to maintain technical expertise.
  • Identifying growth opportunities within current accounts and supporting business development efforts.
  • Participating in strategic planning to support the firm’s long-term success.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting or a related field, with CPA certification required.
  • 3–5 years of public accounting experience, particularly in audit-focused roles within smaller or mid-sized firms.
  • In-depth knowledge of auditing practices, financial reporting, and compliance regulations.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple engagements while meeting deadlines and maintaining high quality.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills for client relations and team leadership.
  • A commitment to pursuing leadership opportunities and making a long-term impact within the firm.
  • A proactive approach to problem-solving and maintaining professional standards.

The salary is $80-115k DOE

Must be legally authorized to work in the U.S., without current or future requirements for sponsorship of an employment-based visa status.
